Georgia River Tubing, Live Mountain Music, Hot Tub Cabins

What does summer bring to mind? Picnics, vacations, flip flops, outdoor adventure, grilling, river tubing, live music, exploring nature… well, we have all of that and more in one fantastic location! Bring those summertime visions to life with a trip to the North Georgia Mountains.

The Coosawattee River Resort features tubing excursions through The Coosawattee River Tubing Company, live music and bonfires at The General Store at Eagle Mountain as well as quaint cabins and hot tub villas at The Villas at Coosawattee’s which start around $85 per night. Grab your flip flops and head up to the mountains! Now is the best time to tube down the river, swim in one of the three pools, picnic from the summer menu, listen live music at ‘Pickin’ on the Porch’ and craft s’mores around a campfire.

The best place, hands down, to take a tubing excursion is The Coosawattee River Tubing Company! Just an hour north of Atlanta, GA and just an hour south of Chattanooga, TN, an entertaining 2-1/2 hour inner tube float down the Coosawattee River is waiting for you and your entourage. The Coosawattee River Tubing Company furnishes the tube, life vest, shuttle service to and from the river, and changing rooms for an admission price of $15 per person (group rates are available). Although reservations are not mandatory, trips fill-up quickly so availability inquiry and reservation(s) are strongly advised. Please note that children must be at least 5 years of age. A waiver must be signed and submitted prior to the tubing excursion. To save time, please read the rules and regulations and then print & sign the waiver prior to coming on the tubing trip.
The season is in full-swing and runs through October with the following operating days:
  • Seven days a week from Memorial Day through Labor Day
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Labor Day  through October 1st
And your adventure is not over when your tubing trip ends. Visit  The General Store at Eagle Mountain for  breakfast (starting at 7am) and for the summer menu lunch. Also The General Store features ‘Pickin' on the Porch’ which is scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Saturday night of each month (weather permitting), with a variety of local entertainment and music from gospel to blue grass to Old Time Rock 'n' Roll. During ‘Pickin’ on the Porch’,  The General Store is open  for your dining and munching convenience. Bring your own lawn chair, pull up your seat next to the bon-fire, and roast some marshmallows while enjoying the entertainment and mountain ambiance!
